I have been compensated for this post by Oros. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
I am so excited to tell you about a new app I have had the privilege to preview. It’s called Oros, and the reason I love it is that it combines a few things that would have previously required me to do separate web or app searches. Oros is not only a text app (that connects you with your own contacts), it’s also a question/answer and recommendations app (that connects you with anyone in the world). Oros launches on April 3, 2018 in Austin (and will be expanding to other cities soon after).
I find that real recommendations from real people are more important than ever when I am planning for trips or outings. Oros easily connects me not only with my group of friends and family, but also with locals and experts when I need a tip or recommendation! This app is going to quickly become my go-to for both local and travel recommendations, and also for planning things with my friends and family.
Available for free in the App Store and Google Play, all the benefits of Oros live right on your phone, at the tip of your fingers.
In the app, I not only see notifications for groups I am in and topics I follow, but can also ask questions targeted towards specific locations, groups, and other filters.
I can also browse open questions and weigh in with my own recommendations.
This app will literally expand my community globally, connecting me with new people and hidden gems wherever I go or am considering going. And when I’m at home, local resources in my interests are just a question or search away.
