Just in time for back-to-school at HEB: SoCozy now found where everything is better!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of SoCozy.  All opinions are my own based on my experience using the products.

I am excited about today's Friday Faves post.  Why?  Because I get to talk about two of my favorite things: my boys' curly hair, and HEB

I recently got to try out a line of children's salon formula hair care products called SoCozy.  More details on how the products worked below, but first I am excited to announce that SoCozy products are now available at HEB!  Better yet, SoCozy products at HEB are $4 off between now and 8/21/16!

So, let me start at the beginning.  My boys have amazing curly hair.  I am actually obsessed over their hair.  G has these fantastic, long, surfer waves, and S has adorable, springy ringlets.  My husband and I both grew up with curly hair ourselves, so while we are grateful for having thick, curly hair, we also know the struggle of finding the right ways and products to style it.  We also know the pain of brushing curly hair when it tangles!  We hope to save our boys from some of the struggle by experimenting with different products to keep their curls looking great, while also minimizing the painful tangles.

S's fabulous ringlets struggle a bit in the humidity of Central Texas summers

Before SoCozy, we were using a moose.  While it helps shape the boys' curls, it doesn't hold up well in the humidity (my poor boys are suffering from frizz at the moment), and has a stiffer hold that doesn't help much with the tangle issue.

The dreaded frizz that us curly-haired folk are destined to live with during the hot, humid summers in Texas

I got to try three SoCozy products: Boo! Shampoo, Boo! Spray, and Behave Styling Cream.  Some more about the brand: SoCozy is a line of salon formulas for the unique hair needs of kids between the ages of 2 and 12 years old.  They are non-toxic and made without parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, or propylene glycol.  Additionally, they are free of alcohol, gluten, wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts.

In addition to being free of "nasties," the Boo! products naturally keep lice away - PERFECT for us to have found this before back-to-school!

HEB is one of the things that makes Texas great (seriously, I love my home state of California, but Texas has Cali beat in the grocery store category).  I am so glad that I will be able to find these SoCozy products at HEB now, along with the others I haven't had the chance to try, but want to (Boing Curl Shampoo, Boing Curl Conditioner, and Cinch Detangler).

SoCozy Boo! Shampoo, Boo! Spray, and Behave Styling Cream

We tried the Boo! Shampoo first, and it worked great.  It lathered nicely, didn't sting the eyes, and had a great scent (the tea tree and peppermint oil not only repel lice, but also smell amazing).  It's also supposed to stimulate hair growth, and strengthen, protect, and smooth hair.

Bath time is always a fun time for these two

Next, we tried the Behave Styling Cream.  We started the next morning when we were getting S ready for school.  The kid always wakes up with epic bed head, so part of our morning routine requires combing, wetting, and styling his hair with product.

S loved the smell of the Behave Styling Cream, and thought it was so fun to try out a new product

The result was a much softer hold than our moose, and held up better against the humidity in the frizz-factor.  Here he is after school that day:

Find SoCozy in an HEB near you, and hurry!  Remember that between now and 8/21/16 SoCozy products at HEB are $4 off!  I know I'm excited to pick up some of the Boing Curl Shampoo and Conditioner to give them a try too.
