Product Review: Muller Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt Flavors

Disclosure: I received a sample of Muller yogurt for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience using the product.  I was not financially compensated for this post.

As you know, I love finding healthy recipes and snacks.  Yogurt is a great way to get your protein and calcium, without the guilt of other sweet and sugary snacks.  When I heard that Muller was coming out with yogurt flavors inspired by ice cream, I was more than down to sample it for Fab Everyday readers.  What's best is that each of these large serving sizes of yogurt is about 200 calories or less!

Here is my review of each of the four new flavors of Muller Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt.

Strawberries and Cream: The first flavor I tried was Strawberries and Cream.  It was light and creamy, without a heavy fruit flavor like a regular fruit-flavored yogurt.  It has more of a dairy, milky taste (much like the flavor of a cream-flavored ice cream).

Mint Chocolate Chip: Now, I am probably one of the only people that doesn't love mint chocolate chip ice cream.  This yogurt was certainly good, though.  The yogurt was again creamy and light (not a heavy, rich mint taste), and the dark chocolate shavings certainly made it taste decadent.  It didn't really taste like mint chocolate ice cream to me, but tasted more like a mint chocolate patty, with that cool, white mint flavor (as opposed to a spearmint).

Vanilla Bean: This flavor I loved!  I normally opt for a rich, chocolate-y type of ice cream myself as opposed to vanilla, but as for the vanilla ice cream inspired yogurt, this was a win.  It was actually richer than the Strawberries and Cream flavor.  You can see the vanilla bean specs in the picture above, which gave it a rich, velvety vanilla taste, as opposed to a bland vanilla taste of regular vanilla-flavored yogurts.

Raspberry Chocolate Chip: This one was both my husband and my favorite flavor!  It was a rich, decadent raspberry tasting yogurt with rich dark chocolate shavings.  This tasted nothing short of indulgent, and reminded me of a raspberry mousse in flavor and consistency, though a little less rich than a mousse.  This certainly felt like a treat to eat, unlike many other lower calorie snacks.

All in all, I would definitely recommend any of these yogurt flavors (depending on what type of flavors you like), and would happily treat myself to the indulgent Raspberry Chocolate Chip and Vanilla Bean flavors again.  While you wouldn't mistake them for ice cream, the flavors - as they say - are ice cream inspired, and make a decent substitute to satisfy your sweet tooth with less guilt.  Look for yours at your grocery store now!

The Raspberry Chocolate Chip sounds absolutely scrumptious!
